What happens when the woman once called impure no longer stands outside the sanctuary asking to be forgiven, chosen, or permitted to enter?
For the fifth Sermon of the Hedonist Nun, we enter the mystery of the Holy Whore’s return to the altar. Held beneath the Full Moon in Cancer, this class explores the movement from being desired. We examine the notions damned, exiled, and fragmented into becoming initiated, self-possessed, and capable of holding spiritual authority without abandoning the body.
Together, we will examine feminine exile, grief, sensuality, devotion, sacred authority, and the reclamation of the woman who no longer seeks holiness through self-rejection.
This sermon marks a threshold: the Holy Whore no longer approaches the altar as one who must repent for her embodiment, but as one who remembers her place within the sacred.
She does not come to the altar to repent for being embodied.
She comes because she has remembered her authority and exiled feminine returns as priestess.
